Lebedev took one of the worst beatings I've ever seen in a boxing ring against Jones, and absorbed a lot of punishment against Gassiev, who can really hit. Definitely a case of being too tough for his own good. I hope he recovers and is ok soon.

Post fight care in Russia may be subpar.

For all its faults, post fight care by the BBBoC is exceptional. Other organisations around the world, particularly the US and Russia should take note.

Someone on twitter is saying that his manager wants to assure people that Lebedev is ok and in the hospital for precautionary measures. Good if true.
