Not in the morning, the final weigh ins started at noon. See ... I can play silly games too!
Brook was 11lbs heavier than GGG 30 days out, he was still heavier 7 days out, still heavier at the official weigh in, and still heavier at noon on the day of the fight.
If you are going to say they didn't step on the scales right before they got in the ring, so GGG was heavier than Brook by then, because he's a MW and Kel is a WW, and that makes me a liar, you are going to look like ******s.
But heck .. that wouldn't be anything new, so go ahead ..Comment

HBO always shows same day weight in the tale of the tape!! They R the ones who actually request it of the fighters...FYI!Comment

I argue N'Dam's a better fighter now than he was when he fought Quillin. Most fighters improve their skills over time.
N'Dam wouldn't even be in the discussion if Danny (the challenger) simply agreed to fight the champion. $2mill is not chump change, so he has no reason to be stalling and killing the fight.Comment

Per the WBA rules, GGG gets the lionshare of the 75/25 split. I would assume that GGG's team upped the offer to around 30 - 35% which they didnt have to. They could have stuck to their guns and let it go to purse bid.
What does Jacobs really think he's worth? Or is it a matter of wanting to be over compensated for the pending azz whooping? This guy couldn't even fill a stadium down the block from where he lives for christ sakes!Comment

But like you said earlier, Haymon's investment fund is drying up. Unless he has something in mind at 168, it looks like Jacobs has only 2 options: Take his shot at GGG, and if he loses, go back to fighting on PBC for $500K purses, with $2million in the bank. Or turn his back on the GGG fight and go back to the $500K purses immediately. Seems like a no brainer to me.
Al will promise to pay Danny some hedge fund money on the side not to take the fight, then overpay him for some garbage fight, just like Quillin, all to keep him out of adding to Golovkin's status.
There's no reason for Danny to not take this fight. It's his biggest payday and the whole point of his career, to fight the champ and become the champ.Comment

Gennady Golovkin and Kell Brook each made weight for the IBF’s on-the-day weigh-in. The pair, who will clash for ‘GGG’s’ WBC, IBF and IBO middleweight world tit
You need to stop lying.Comment
