    Should be done...
It has happened many times in boxing history. It's not like Brook was a small WW. He's a big WW who had fought at JMW some times.

And if it wasn't because of the orbital bone fracture the fight was going very well.

If you are going to say they didn't step on the scales right before they got in the ring, so GGG was heavier than Brook by then, because he's a MW and Kel is a WW, and that makes me a liar, you are going to look like ******s.

But heck .. that wouldn't be anything new, so go ahead ..
Even if your speculation is accurate you can't sit there and say its a fact lmao theres no record of it. You should look up the definition of the word "fact" again

This is one of the more annoying negotiations in recent memory

I'm not concerned with N'Dam losing a 3 round amateur style fight. I imagine quite a few pro's such as Quillin or Jacobs could lose a fight like that, they're still quality pro fighters.

I argue N'Dam's a better fighter now than he was when he fought Quillin. Most fighters improve their skills over time.

N'Dam wouldn't even be in the discussion if Danny (the challenger) simply agreed to fight the champion. $2mill is not chump change, so he has no reason to be stalling and killing the fight.

Per the WBA rules, GGG gets the lionshare of the 75/25 split. I would assume that GGG's team upped the offer to around 30 - 35% which they didnt have to. They could have stuck to their guns and let it go to purse bid.

What does Jacobs really think he's worth? Or is it a matter of wanting to be over compensated for the pending azz whooping? This guy couldn't even fill a stadium down the block from where he lives for christ sakes!

Or turn his back on the GGG fight and go back to the $500K purses immediately. Seems like a no brainer to me.
I don't think Haymon gives a **** about Jacobs' legacy. Just like Quillin, he destroyed the guys career when he had him vacate the title. I think Haymon simply doesn't want to help HBO build up their star in Golovkin, b/c he's trying to build the alternative to HBO in the PBC.

Al will promise to pay Danny some hedge fund money on the side not to take the fight, then overpay him for some garbage fight, just like Quillin, all to keep him out of adding to Golovkin's status.

There's no reason for Danny to not take this fight. It's his biggest payday and the whole point of his career, to fight the champ and become the champ.

Boxingscene posted an article of the weights at 6:09am ET. UK is 5 hours ahead, so it can't have been after 11:09am.

Gennady Golovkin and Kell Brook each made weight for the IBF’s on-the-day weigh-in. The pair, who will clash for ‘GGG’s’ WBC, IBF and IBO middleweight world tit

                    You need to stop lying.
