  • Comments Thread For: Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Orlando Salido Rematch in March?

Orlando Salido, coming off his 12-round draw versus Francisco Vargas on June 4th, was slated to appear on December 17th against Takashi Miura at the Forum in Los Angeles on HBO. But a back injury knocked him out of that assignment and it was announced last week that Miura and Vargas would co-headline an HBO telecast on January 28th from the Fantasy Springs Casino.

I could care less about this one and think Loma will will make easy work of him this time. I get why Loma, and fans, want it though so it makes sense.
There's better fights that could be made though.

by.... fighting a threat, even if it means moving up a division ?

you called Golovkin "great" yesterday LMAO, so I gotta ask.....

what on earth do Golovkin and Lomachenko have in common ?

Golovkin has been a pro for 10 years and done absolutely nothing..... and yet, despite the fact that Lomachenko has only been here for 5 minutes, he has a better resume than Golovkin.

This fight needs to happen next.
Klimas can be really stubborn sometimes and just makes his fighters look bad, so hopefully he doesn't mess it up.

As long as it doesn't happen in freaking Texas. Home of the cheaters.

The 2016 Fighter of the year, aka Lomachenko, needs to fight more next year.

this will be loma's first legit fight imo..and i dont see bob taking the training wheels off to make it happen..

loma fights either small garry russels, shot martinez, or year lay off walters, or nonfactors since the salido loss

he's fast tracked..but it's like a bmx bike with training wheels on it purchased by bob arum..

they'll find a way to say salido wants top much money..

If he's fighting 3 times a year then this fight makes sense. It's one I'm sure he's always wanted to get back.

Afterwards there is a potential Gamboa matchup and fights and possibly fights at 135.
