K2 has had three months to dictate things, and that changes in the next 48 hours, lol. Is Golovkin really free to fight off of HBO? we'll find out soon.

he will vacate because, he got " stiffed in the talks "

they will not attempt to outbid K2 in order to gain control of that fight, if it means they have to pay Golovkin 75%

The fight isn't signed, so this is tongue in cheek. Very easy to say you can beat GGG - Floyd said it also. Much different when you actually have to fight GGG.

Trash talking in boxing is so boring and lame when 99% of the fights don't happen or if they do - it happens many years later.

If Haymon planned on taking control by winning the purse bid, then why did he allow the purse bid to be delayed in the first place? He could've simply ordered an immediate purse bid like he did with Stevenson/Kovalev.

Why they've taken this long is stupid. GGG cost himself a December fight trying to get Jacobs to come to terms. Let Danny go back to fighting **** fights in Reading, PA where nobody shows up and nobody watches on tv.

Jacobs talks GGG but it is just a LIE

Jacobs has no intention of ever fighting GGG. Why for what purpose? To get KO'd in Brooklyn or Vegas. Jacobs is a nice kid who just should be a Will Smith stand in and or just box others not on GGG level. Jacobs knows GGG will KO him.

Well if Jacobs doesn't sign, there's always this fearless warrior.

Deadline supposed to be tommorow, I'm not optimistic it gets done. Jacobs is going to vacate next week after the purse bid and GGG will have to fight the winner of Blanco/N'Dam instead.
Yep, picked that one up also. Always tell a liar when they change their story... learnt that in grade 4.

Didn't like the soft touch at the end either, when asked if the bout doesn't happen. To me it sounds like that's what he's expecting.

Hopefully, the fight gets made, so we can see how ready they are. Few things:
                  1) It's possible for Haymon to pull a Stevenson/Kovalev. Let it go to purse bid with full intnentions on winning it (I know they have to give GGG 75%), but that would essentially cancel the fight and be of no consequence.
                  2) Was Jacobs ready months ago or not? An obvious inconsistency there.
                  3) If the fight doesn't happen, there are still competitive options for Jacobs (Lee, Lemieux, BJS, Canelo, etc.). Those fighters are more likely to face Jacobs than GGG. This fight not happening hurts GGG a little more in my opinion...

Jacobs should fight Lemeiux before GGG, needs to get his body ready to take a legitimate middleweights punch or he'll be like a deer in headlights once Golden Goose Gennady unloads his offense!

Jacobs likely will move up to 168
