Foreman is 36 yr. old now and ranked 130 as SMW. He has fought recently guys with records such as 9-9-1. Lara should fight better opposition if he wants to be an elite fighter.

No top fighter will face Lara. They would lose in a fight with little action. The only way Lara is going to get a big fight is if he drops his belt and work his way into someone's mandatory. He really should move up to 160 now and earn a mandatory against G. G will never fight him, but he could get another shot at Canelo.

If you are going to comment on an article, you should really read it first. If you had, you would know that no one good will fight him, because he already is elite. Beating him would launch someone into stardom, but the fight with Lara won't make them much.

Lara beat the crap out Paul Williams. Watch that fight. Then you can talk on the subject of Lara without proving you are nothing more than an ignorant troll.

The fact of the matter is, he is very good and considered HIGH risk , low reward. So nobody is going to be in a hurry looking his way.

If he was perceived as a weak belt holder, fighters would have been drooling at the prospect of taking it away from him. They are not and its not because he is a "runner".
He's not considered high risk to GGG. The problem is right after he called GGG out, his manager came out saying Showtime has been loyal to Lara and he wouldn't fight off Showtime. Then, Dibella said there would be "network issues" making GGG-Lara.

So Lara's poor opponents have nothing to do with him being high risk low reward. It has to do with Lara being fake. His callouts are fake. He wants no part of GGG. Do people forget what Angulo did to Lara? With that left hook? Remember GGG's left hooks against Curtis Stevens? Remember how GGG cuts off the ring way better than Angulo, jabs inside way better, is bigger, more powerful, better timing, etc etc?

Lara is ducking GGG. He makes fake callouts, but then says he won't fight on GGG's network. Or his manager implies that. Same thing. That is the real issue.

I do not have access to the inner workings of these "negotiations" and unless you do we will just have to surmise you are expressing your opinion which I respect. But still an opinion.

Count me as one who does not believe Lara is fake. His style may not be for everyone but he is far far from fake.

I am always careful about making assumptions about how a fight will play out between two fighters based on how one fighter performed against a different opponent.

Take it for what its worth, a fit, active and focused Angulo is no easy fight for anyone. The guy can ****. He hurts anyone he hits cleanly. I came away impressed with how Lara weathered the adversity and still pulled off the victory. That rates highly in my book

Interestingly i rewatched Stevens v GGG last night and really came away surprised at how much success Stevens had against GGG. A lot better than Kell did.

He will have his hands full with Lara. Lara is not fake.
