UFC has every right to deny Conor the right to compete in other mma organizations while he's under contract or not retired. But what right do they have to stop him from retiring from MMA and pursue boxing? it's none of their business and i'm pretty sure it's illegal to try and control an athlete in a contract like that. Hopefully this goes further and UFC gets used if they interveneComment

Like everyone in UFC, Dana White owns Connor. McGregor made a record payday for a ppv that did over 1.5 million. Ward made more for a ppv that did 160k.
The thinking of most now is apparently that McGregor is doing all this to try and get a share of UFC. That ufc ppv probably woulda done 500k, a million less, without McGregor. Connor is making Dana and whoever just bought UFC all kinds of money and he wants more of it.
The good news is this gives the haters a chance to prove they are still alive, even after Floyd drove a bus, picked up Manny, and took him to school. rofl, They said he was ducking everyone. Then he signed to fight them and they said Floyd would chicken out and not fight. Then Floyd won easily and they said it was cherry picking.
The only way Connor knows to stay in the headlines is to mention Floyd Mayweather every chance he gets. Even Rousey did it! Dana is all for this talk, it will make more people buy ppvs. Connor will never box anyone, but it will get idiots to pay for his UFC ppvs.Comment
