The reality is that his contract with UFC will prevent him from ever fighting outside of that promotion. He see's what lord Dana White is paying these guys to put their lives on the line and realizes the money split isn't fair. He is part of these great PPV numbers but getting nothing more than a token fee to fight. He talks about wanting equity in the company, there is no way UFC would even consider that. These guys reign at the top of UFC is short, why would they offer long term equity when he is probably going to be irrelevant a few years from now.
Floyd holds all the cards if he ever wanted this fight. Conner would dictate nothing.

Floyd is not at his prime. Hasn't been for a while now.

So you got a boxing license? That's great.

But did you get permission from your boss yet?

A license is no big deal! Now what are you going to do. A Canelo fight would seriously hurt him, Paulie makes no money! Then Dana White had to approve it.

He has a license in CA, where Floyd hasn't fought since 2003.

That's Conor using Floyd for hype.

To be fair, Floyd has done some hyping of his own and has done nothing to dispel this absurd notion.

Until someone figures out a real way for combatants in these vastly different sports to actually test themselves against one another, this is just fanboy musing.

No halfway decent boxer is going to lose a boxing match to even the top MMA guy.

And MMA athletes have gotten good enough to say the opposite when it comes to boxers trying to contend in their sport.

              Me?

I think Conor AND Floyd are laughing at all of us.

Conor the leprechaun belongs in Santa's sleigh not boxing

Big mouth comical wee man elf sized half man Conor is mostly hot air and rectum gas belching out irish vomit into the clean America air. Comical Conor is to be laughed at and not taken seriously. Let this dwarf McGregor find his pot of gold in some Irish Peat bog and not in Vegas fighting the legendary Floyd.

Floyd has been great for a very long time!

                  A UFC's fighter lifespan isn't that long.

Conor will have eclipsed Floyd's total long before he turns 39.

LOL, You fool! How delusional can one guy be? Money May was only busting his balls. He'll never step in the ring with him. His net worth is only about $ 600 mil. Maybe he should call out Roy Jones, Jr. Or James Toney or any other cash poor boxer for that matter, because I'm pretty sure they could all use the extra dough.
