Wouldn't surprise me if Lebedev got something broken on his right side. After the knockdown, he winced and back-peddled every time he got hit on that side (and if Lebedev is wincing, it means it really DOES hurt) and his movement was affected for a few rounds as he was trying to protect from getting hit in the same spot, which allowed Gassiev to rack up the middle rounds.

I edged it to Gassiev but close fight, the kid is much too static and spent way too much time just trailing Lebedev around the ring. Despite his obvious power Usyk would make him look basic.

What a chin on both fighters and respect to lebedev that got up from that brutal body punch.
You could see spit flying out of his mouth when he mustered the power to stand up and still he took several punches to the same side in the same round, tough SOB.

Usyk says he wants to unify, first he has a tough oppenent in mchunu to beat.
let's hope gassiev is up for it, cruiser is maybe the best divisjon now. Powerful big athletic guys with heart
