after complaining of ggg's resume, people now calling this a mismatch? the only reason it's PPV is because jacobs thinks he's mayweather after beating quillin and mora, he's demanding way more than he deserves..ggg's team has no choice but to accommodate the diva. .i don't see jacobs surviving past round six.

And here's a chance for GGG to prove he's worth more than $10 mil. to Canelo. All sides get what they want
Saul the f@g already made it perfectly clear he wants no part of GGG. He fought Amir Khan, vacated the MIDDLEWEIGHT title and fought Liam Smith instead of stepping up and backing up all his **** talking.

Well I'm a hardcore idiot boxing fan who sticks around despite everything wrong with the sport, and would probably pay for a double feature of Gonzalez-Cuadras and Golovkin-Jacobs. That doesn't make it PPV worthy, because there are very few (97K?) who would do the same.

I highly doubt it does enough to be financially justified. And it's not really a great fight It's a good fight, but nothing people should have to buy a PPV for. If we start making every decent fight a PPV, then we will see even fewer good fights than we have before. It's not good for boxing.

It's the best MW fight in years

Unfortunately, PPV is a popularity rather than merit based concept and it doesnt qualify on that basis

I'd rather watch Eubank or Saunders on regular hbo. What a joke.

If they put Gonzalez-Cuadras II on there then it's a better value PPV than any from 2016 tbh

200k should just about cover it and I think it's reasonable to expect slightly more buys than GGG-Lemieux

well, we just had the biggest fight of the year flop on PPV..so it has to be more than "best facing the best". . GGG is a KO specialist, fan favorite and definitely increased his popularity fighting in the UK. ..this fight has to be PPV because of the demands from Jacobs. .and this isn't a "decent" fight, it's a terrific matchup between the top two middleweights in the sport, what more could we ask for. .guarantee this does at least 250K. .Gonzalez will most likely be on the card and we know what he brings.. it's a great night for boxing.
