after complaining of ggg's resume, people now calling this a mismatch? the only reason it's PPV is because jacobs thinks he's mayweather after beating quillin and mora, he's demanding way more than he deserves..ggg's team has no choice but to accommodate the diva. .i don't see jacobs surviving past round six.

Yea. I remember a certain fighter that used to stack his undercards with good fights.......But he killed boxing. He was horrible for the sport. More people watching is horrible for the sport.
And here's a chance for GGG to prove he's worth more than $10 mil. to Canelo. All sides get what they want

Well I'm a hardcore idiot boxing fan who sticks around despite everything wrong with the sport, and would probably pay for a double feature of Gonzalez-Cuadras and Golovkin-Jacobs. That doesn't make it PPV worthy, because there are very few (97K?) who would do the same.Comment

I highly doubt it does enough to be financially justified. And it's not really a great fight It's a good fight, but nothing people should have to buy a PPV for. If we start making every decent fight a PPV, then we will see even fewer good fights than we have before. It's not good for boxing.Comment

Unfortunately, PPV is a popularity rather than merit based concept and it doesnt qualify on that basisComment

If they put Gonzalez-Cuadras II on there then it's a better value PPV than any from 2016 tbh
