HBO starting the year off with these undercard fights. Looks like another bull**** year is on the way.

Vargas, berchelt, salido,miura are all undercard fighters. They don't deserve there own dates. They should be co main event fighters to crawford,golovkin,ward,kovalev,canelo .

So I guess you are anxiously waiting for the Crawford vs Molina fight just like you probably enjoyed GGG/Dominic Wade or Ward/Alexander Brand or Kovalev/Mohammedi or Canelo/Liam Smith?

I'd much rather see these "undercard fighers" battle it out on HBO. Vargas vs Berchelt plus Miura vs Roman are guaranteed action and competitive fights that I'd much rather watch on the tube than some big name mismatch fight.

I went to the Canelo/Cotto fight and I can barely remember what went on in that fight. But I can surely recall the battle between Vargas and Miura. To me it's about the match making and the Vargas card is one to look forward to. I'd much rather see these types of fights that you know should be guaranteed excitement than some big name wasting my time fighting in a mismatch. Have fun watching Hopkins vs Smith.

First words out my mouth was hbo is gearing up for another ****ty year. So that includes ggg vs wade and crawford vs molina.

the budget could be used for better opponents for bud, golovkin etc if hbo stop wasting money on cards like vargas vs Berchelt.

I'm not a casual fan. brawls don't excite me if it doesn't involve elite fighters. Cotto vs margarito, morales vs barrera, pacquiao vs marquez are some of my favorite fights because of the stakes and status of those fighters.

you can have ward vs gatti, miura vs vargas. Good action but it doesn't move the needle in said division.

give me canelo vs golovkin without knowing if it's a classic or a stinker over vargas vs muira 10 times out of 10.

I like high stakes.

I prefer hbo give us one big fight per month than 3 little ones per month.

Hopkins vs calzaghe
Dawson vs pascal
mayweather vs Corrales

We deserve better as hbo suscribers than a vargas main event.

But If that's the Co main event to golovkin vs jacobs or Ward vs Kovalev 2 or crawford vs broner or some major **** like that I would be excited.
