Chris eubank jr gets mugged off by eddie hearn

I don't know if this news has been reported here already. If it has, I missed it.

The Eubanks told Eddie Hearn that Jnr wanted to fight on the Joshua/Molina PPV show, and Hearn told them that the card was full ... then immediately added Connor Benn to the bill!

This YT boxing channel is a great source for info on the UK boxing scene, btw. I don't always agree with his opinions, but Hatman never posts unsubstantiated bull****.

Hearn has already done an interview about it. Benn was always going to be on the card.

He said the reason he refused Eubank is because he wanted too much money and wouldn't even get a decent opponent in time worthy of the money. Simple as that. Fair enough i think.

Yeah, Hatman mentioned that as a possible explanation. Made me lol when he said that Jnr had first approached AJ and asked him to pass on the request to Hearn. And Hearn told AJ that if Eubank went on the bill, his purse would come out of AJ's cut.

Yeah, I Was about to say the same.. knowing Eubank Sr, he would have definitely demanded more money to be on the card & face a taxi driver..

Hearn responds to Eubank's tweet. Says Eubank wants a ton of money for an easy fight. Eubank also reached out to Anthony Joshua about it. Joshua asked Eddie and Eddie told him that Eubank's purse would be coming out of Joshua's money since he was the main draw of the card. Therefore Eubank sits until he's willing to take a serious fight or a pay cut. That's why I can't see a good reason for Eubank to turn down the BJS offer.

Meantime, Eubank's been vacationing in Dubai this entire time.

Jr won't be involved with Hearn for much longer IMO, it's only a matter of time.

Eddie is a good business man, but that's all he is about. No genuine care towards his fighters, just the cash they can bring him.

Even his dad calls him mercenary.

That's why he lets him run the family firm.

Women's boxing would bring in a lot more money if they fought bare-chested when they turned pro, like the men.
