We saw Khan outbox Canelo in every round until a lucky power punch landed from the much heavier man and Khan was unable to recover before the 10 count concluded.

The question we need to carefully examine at this point is whether Khan should rightfully retain his status as number 1 at 147 or does the loss against cruiserweight Canelo affect Khan's supremacy at welterweight?
