Lol both sides of this argument are absolutely comical. No one knows who has the advantage in the rematch. Both fighters are incredible and have layers to their styles. Both will make adjustments and we'll see who made the better adjustments in the rematch

Kov won the first fight... of course he has the advantage and Vegas odds this time will prove it!

Kovalev won 5 of the first 6 rounds.

Take a close look at round 4, ****ing beautiful boxing from Kovalev against another great boxer. As soon as Ward gave up on boxing Kovalev he started being real spoily and dirty and yes managed to win the remainder of the rounds ACCEPT for R10, a great SK round. Maybe 12 too!

That has literally nothing to do with what I posted. And yeah, I had Kovalev winning. But that doesn't change that most the people who still hate on Ward and are probably going to say he will duck the rematch were the ones saying he would never take the fight in the first place.

Kovalev, like George Groves in his first fight with Froch, could NOT have started the fight any better then he did and he STILL wasn't able to close it out against Ward. So just like Groves, Kovalev will lose the rematch convincingly.

... of course there isn't -- other than the actual fact that there is a immediate rematch clause in their initial contract... When someone has a rematch clause, someone may try to "outbox" his opponent, provided the fact that he is comfortable with the idea that (if he fails) he will go "life and death" into the rematch...
