Great match up. Ruiz has been brought along very well. Great handspeed and seasoning. Parker has some chops as well and could develop to be a decent puncher boxer.

I think Ruiz might be a little more seasoned than Parker...he has the speed to land more often which may get him the confidance and the points to take this one!

        Parker UD.

I think Ruiz is tough and durable enough to last the distance.

Don't sleep on Ruiz, he has lost 24 pounds and looks in shape for this one. Training in Big Bear too. This might be the fight Ruiz has been waiting for to get serious.

Listening to him on the radio this morning, and he seems ready for Parker.

I think this is JP biggest test to date.

I think Ruiz has looked better but he hasn't faced any Takam or even Dimitrenko level competition.

Hmm I think I'll go with Parker by decision.

Parker by decision. I'll be absolutely shocked if fatty Ruiz comes anywhere close to victory.

I don't think Ruiz can win this fight on points unless he completely dominates the fight and I don't see a one-sided fight at all. I think it's going to be a quite competitive fight but Ruiz really needs a KO to win. Ruiz has the hand speed and power to put Parker to sleep so he does have a chance. Should be a very entertaining fight no matter who wins.

I fancy Parker to get a late stoppage.

Parker rather easily. I don't think Ruiz can be a totally new fighter after one good training camp.
