Walters can always be brought back as an opponent. Unfortunately for him, I can not see him as an A side for a televised fight at this point. He went from rising star after beating Donaire to a quitter with no heart all in two years time.

On the bright side, Walters can get a big win in the future and win back some fans. People forget that Ortiz fought his way back up from quitting and even won a world title against Berto in a great fight. It seemed like the Maidana incident was behind him, but he didn't do himself any favors headbutting Floyd and quitting again against Lopez and in the Berto rematch, but he did get a second chance.

but u'll watch hbo or arum's next show..when both parties are the reason a fighter wasnt allowed to fight..sound sensible to me dude.

Your right though. Oh wait. Walters had as many fights as Broner this year so there goes your argument. And as many fights as Shawn Porter, Vanes Martirosyan, Miguel Vazquez, Danny Jacobs etc who all have openly complained about their lack of activity after only getting 1 fight this year which is the same amount as Walters. If only their master/promoter did their job! Good try though.
****kkkkkkkkkkkk me...when was hbo's before ortiz's sack of **** boredom? see u call danny vs garcia a mismatch wen the truth is it's called a fuggin tune up...U KNOW WAT A TUNE UP IS? if not it's what walters needed before this fight..

is broner fighting a lomachenko this year? did walters spend time in jail like broner this year? did walters need psychological help this year?
danny jacobs turned down the most fair deal for ggg ever imo..he deserves his inactivity..pbc is going through a slow part bc of ppl like yourself. u prolly hated from the jump just for hbo to put 3 fights on every 6 months smh...AND LET'S BE HONEST..hbo's entire november hasnt produced one memorable fight

u got news for me...no mf i got news for you..you're a fuggin boxing fan happy that boxing failed or is failing on one side..

meanwhile pbc at least give you javier fortuna on an undercard..hbo should call their november line up...NO SHOW NOVEMBER..none of their fights turned into a show..more to talk abou afterwards than to talk about during the action.

Walters will never be looked at like the killer he was. Now the word quitter will metaphorically be etched on his forehead for the remainder of his career. Duran went on to do great things after his second fight with leonard. But the one thing he will always be know for is "No Mas". Ironically Walters not only adopted Duran's homeland , but also the stigma that comes with the words he also adopted after facing an Olympic gold medalist. "No Mas"...

Chavez jr quit against fonfara and morales quit against pacquiao and they still got network fights afterwards. This isnt anything unheard of or hasnt been done since no mas im not sure why everyone is making a huge deal out of it. Yes its not what a top fighter is supposed to do but he was taking a beating and a knockout was inevitable. I think walters can earn his reputation back eventually by winning big fights. It may take a couple years

What part of Duran went on to do great things after the second fight did you not understand.

There are no more exciting young fighters, boxing is dead, UFC is taking over with the action, Conor talks trash and is fun to watch adn a warrior who goes for the KO
Lomachenko isnt exciting? Ggg isnt exciting? Keith thurman? Dont get me wrong i agree ufc has taken over and boxing has declined but it is not due to a lack of exciting fighters, it is due to the promoters, namely al haymon and pbc not giving the fans the fights we want to see. Haymon is the scourge of boxing and the quicker he is run out of the sport the better it will be
