Well, only to make Loma look bad.
It would be a no win situation either way. Rigo is too small and would get beat up by a younger, bigger and fresher guy. Loma would get no credit for that exact reason.

Rigo fighting Loma right now would be a very bad move. the size difference is too much. It would be like Loma jumping up to fight Crawford. There is a real size difference. Brook vs Golovkin anyone?

He is putting himself in that position by going 12 against guys he can stop in one.
Yeah both of those were last chance type fights for him and he decides to stick it to the man by laying an egg. Fool me once...

S hit fight and Rigo's style is just boring and s hitty in general. And besides, it's to late now, Rigo refuses to move past 122 and Loma's at 130.

Just like Bob arum said of De la hoya no way making Vargas vs Lomachenko, there's no way in hell he himself makes Lomachenko vs Rigondeaux...too much risk

Bob Arum spinning his ****e again. Loma is the truth but he's always going to look elite fighting plodders and brawlers.
If Rigo will take the fight then it's 1 of the best fights that can be made. Others have pointed out that Rigo is a reactive fighter..Loma will make him react and won't let him run. It's a fight that needs to happen . *** Arum!

Arum is full of it. The truth of the matter is that fight is too risky to take the chance on what Arum hopes is his next cash cow. He's not going to let Rigo play spoiler yet again.

what if salido beats loma again arum..what u gonna do then huh? having two losses against a C- level opponent will quash this whole "loma is the young ali" love fest goin on. **** a young ali or young floyd in their primes would NEVER take an L against salido types.
