And do it in NY with non-American judges........

Oh wait...Ward is telling Kovalev he has to bend over now that he's got the belts, so can throw any semblance of fairness out the window now.

Jeez, how can a guy be P4P No. 1 if he always wants the hometown/homejudge advantage, and only gets his most recent win because of it.

They weren't in the same weight classes so neither ducked the other.

I'm not sure why Ward continues to bring this up. He's two weight classes ahead so he's only making himself look like a jerkoff.

            Same goes for Able Sanchez.

I wish people would read the article b4 commenting, it was a question in an interview and he gave a detailed answer - he didn't throw anyone under the bus, he stated facts - he and GGG will always be linked like Mayweather and Pacquiao - he was ready and willing - the other side had a vision and the fight did not fit the vision until 2018 another 2 years from now - so Dre was supposed to stick around 168?? No, he went after a bigger challenge - like all Olympic medalists do, they challenge themselves , they understand that you have to fight top opposition it's the only way to be truly ready...

Simple logic, Ggg didn't move up to fight ward because he'd likely lose. He assumed that he could face either cotto or Canelo for less risk and more money. Same way Hopkins wasn't in a rush to rematch Roy Jones at 175 until he got tito and Oscar. Problem with gggs assumption is he didn't anticipate Canelo pulling one of the biggest coward moves in boxing history but that's how it goes.

People here are really praising the 164 offer after ggg put 154-168 on notice and called out other 168 fighters at the full weight? The same guys say Floyd was wrong to take Canelo at his 152 offer lol. What makes it worse is Abel is trying his best to say we never said 164, but his fanboys are cool with it
