Flanagan is looking to cash out. Unfortunately, he's the B side. More like the C side. His only asset is that paper title. His level of competition wouldn't get him a mention without it. Flanagan is not getting a big paycheck in the US, nobody knows him and he hasn't beat anybody special. This fight won't happen.

Flanagan has the WBO 135lb belt; Robert Easter Jr has the IBF 135lb belt, and the Zlaticanin/Garcia winner will have the WBC 135lb belt (I doubt that Golden Boy's Jorge Linares bothers with the fight, since he's already got the WBA 135lb belt).

Frank Warren and Bob Arum are kindred spirits about this boxing thing, but if he's not going to put the money on the table, there's money elsewhere.
