No. Boxing is partly the art of throwing hard, fast, accurate punches capable of hurting opponents and knocking them out. The most skilled fighters of all are not only skilled on defense and scoring points. They also have the skill of delivering very hard blows on target. Without this skill they can't be the very best a boxer can be. Ray Robinson, Ray Leonard, Joe Louis, Jack Johnson, Hagler, Monzon, Duran, Chavez, Roy Jones and so many more wouldn't be nearly as good if they didn't have their two handed punching power.
