Comments Thread For: Donaire on Nicholas Walters' Quitting: What The F*** Was That?

Former world champion Nonito Donaire was absolutely stunned when Nicholas Walters (26-1-1, 21KOs) refused to keep fighting in his HBO televised showdown with WBO super featherweight world champion Vasyl Lomachenko (7-1, 5KOs).

Walters may have said "no more" when he fought Lomachenko
Donaire snored when he fought Walters

Donaire is not much better than Walters himself in this case. Everytime Donaire receives a thorough ass whooping he has an excuse. "Oh i woke up late!", " i injured my shoulder!", "i'm getting old!" Or "He kept running he didn't want to exchange!" Obviously quitting is a sin in the boxing world but hefore Donaire starts criticising people, he should take a good look at himself first.

More shocked by language from Nonito thought he was a standup Christian....anyway as a fellow Jamaican I was very unpopular amongst my peers extolling the skillset of Lomachenko & expecting his victory. Thought Walters may have had a puncher's chance. To see him quit like that was a shocker. I guess over in Panama he picked up Duran disease. Shame on him he didn't represent my people well AT ALL.

nothing but a coward and a disgrace to the sport, after 7th round he tried to run out of the ring scared said he didnt want anymore, kind of like the school bullys and the schools in movies, once he gets a taste of what he dishes out tail goes inbetween his legs, complete coward can give it but cant take it, hats of to lomecheanko though, a real talent never seen him live before last night , hes terrific

Nonito Donaire is shocked like the rest of us. Walters used to be known as one of the warriors whom would fight to the end but he quit.

He should be like Donaire and not train hard for the biggest fight in his life and get his ass kicked and run for 12 rounds instead. 🙄

                    Walters > Donaire
