The lack of 100% effort is what bothers me the most. Donaire hit him harder in the second round of their fight, then Loma did at any point last night. Walters reacted much differently though. Last night he fought like someone with a gun would be waiting for him in his dressing room, if he put up any resistance.
Yes, and that man's name is Bob Arum lol

      Walters > Donaire
Ummm Are you for real? Like in the history books?

You think Walters beating a Donaire at the end of his rope with a shot to the back of the head puts him above Nonito? Or losing to a master like Rigo over 12 is the same as what happened to Walters?

Walters is a tougher matchup for anyone right now and if he keeps fighting I don't see why he can't surpass Donaire

Because he's already 30 and it's very unlikely he will improve from here..... Because Nonito is a legit 4 weight world champion.

Look at it like this....Donaire's win over Darchinyan > Walters win over Donaire

That's a bunch of BS! The gun that was waiting for him was across the ring staring at him. Just because Donaire hit him harder in one sequence doesn't mean anything and doesn't mean Walters wasn't more hurt to the body by Lom. Walters was able to hit back against Donaire and unable to hit Lom or block his punches. 90% of the game is mental and Lom broke him mentally, took away his game plan and dismantled him. Drop the bullsht ***ery conspiracy theory, it is a failed escapism mentality.

Look at some of the fights Donaire has been in lately where he has been overmatched. Not once did I ever think he would quit, because it's not in his DNA.

Still disappointed that Walters just walked away like that.

And while Rigo was kicking Donaire's ass, Donaire still gave it his all and managed a KD. Dude has heart and every right to call Walters out on this.

Because Donaire has had an exceptional career climbing 4 weight classes, with wins Walters has never come close to matching.
