If this fight is a REAL possibility, it would behoove both sides to take tune-ups closer to the agreed weight limit. Loma should fight a Easter Jr., Flanagan, Gamboa or Verdejo at 135 and Pac should fight Crawford at 140. If both can make it out of their fights, than a Pac/Loma fight at 137-138 could be very interesting.

Pac has a lot of interesting opponents at 147 and 140. Let the post-fight hype die down a bit. Loma's team needs to chill a bit and see what is next. Make the move to 135 or clean out 130. However, when Pacquiao's name comes up, Managers start thinking all looney.

Loma didn't have the professional experience to be in with Salido in his second fight.

Loma needs 15 fights even at his advance status to stand a real chance against an all time great like Manny.

This isn't the amateurs. While Loma has done an incredible job on some good professional fighters, let's be realistic. We are talking the GREAT Manny Pacquaio.

No thanks... kid just moved to 130 2 fights ago. I want a Mikey Garcia fight late next year after Garcia gets a few more quality fights in

Loma can be a great fighter dominating 130-135 for the duration of his career, sure more money is at 140-147 and if he can get to that weight one day then that is great but expecting him to get 10-17 lbs up for Pacquiao his very next fight is CAREER SUICIDE. I think a lot of it is just Arum using Pacquiao name to make Loma a bigger star which is smart but that is not realistic right now

I WOULD LOVE to see this fight, for real. I think they can REALISTICALLY meet at 137-138.

This is what I'm saying. People thought Barrera had a chance against Manny too - dude was getting pivoted all night long.

People make it seem like Manny is completely washed up. He's younger than TBE! He just fights cautious since getting put to sleep by Marquez - if anything, he's more well rounded, except he is still a sucker for lead or overhand right.

I will put money on Manny UD'ing Loma. Huge Loma fan but there's no way he's handling PacMan at his current experience level. And by the time he gets the right experience, Manny truly will be retired.

Why do people believe Pac-Loma is even a possibility?
It's just Arum trying to get Loma some hype.
These Pac comments and all of those other comments Arum is making about Loma are just for publicity. People shouldn't take them seriously in the first place.
If Arum wants to create controversy and get people talking, then I guess he is getting what he wants.

Loma is 409/2 by now,he has all the experience he needs and more,Loma gets hit less then Rigo and Floyd,he will school Manny,Manny don't use angles that much anymore,Loma is way too technical,he will neutralize him better then floyd did

Loma's amateur fights DO NOT prepare him at all for Manny Pacquiao. Believing otherwise is folly. IF that logic were sound, Loma would have beaten Salido, now wouldn't he have?

But he lost. As he would against Pac.
