Lomachenko does not do excuses. He flat out accepted the loss against Salido despite being fouled all night long.

What you really mean is, if MANNY lost, he would make some excuse - likely the weight.

But I don't think Loma is beating Pacquiao. I see a clear and boring UD victory for Pacman in that fight.
I see Loma completely schooling him and making him look foolish after a couple rounds

Idk about Loma being a star. I think he's gonna be a hard sell in the US & TR is gonna likely keep him in the US. The only foreign guys in the US to become stars have been Lennox Lewis & Manny in recent times. One could argue a case for GGG, but I think his PPV numbers suggest otherwise still.
You might be right about the stardom yeah, honestly i don't care if he becomes a serious ppt star,i just wanna see him fight for along time against great opposition, that's more then enough for me

He certainly seems willing to do that so I suspect we do see that.

The main issue I think I have with anything Loma-related right now is his activity. I'd like to see him fighting 3-4 times a year. TR has kept him too inactive for my liking & that probably has stagnated his popularity to some degree.

Manny is no faster than Gary Russell, if Russell can't catch Loma, how is an aging Manny ?

I seriously doubt we will see this fight happen.

Loma can stay active at 130 trying to unify. Pedraza already said that HE wants to unify 130 - so, Loma has a shiny trinket, as does Pedraza...sounds like the easiest fight to make next given they've both got things the other wants.

Sosa says he wants a piece of Loma too, although he might have scuttled under a rock after last night.

Vargas has said he wants a rest, and Golden Boy probably won't allow him in the ring with Loma anyway, but if they can make it for late next year, Pedraza and Sosa would be good stay-warm fights for Loma. By this time next year Loma could have three belts with just Corrales (Jezreel) to go. Then on to Flanagan if he's still got his belt.

Old pacnuts still beats loma at 135...the only person that can beat pacnuts is 💰 may..he'll always be second to him..loma is extremely gifted and is already considered top 3 in the sport..he should just sweep 130 n 135..he could be a HOF with a retired record of 20-1..thats crazy..but pacnuts is just one of the best ever..even at this age even at 135 pac beats him..

I don't think Manny can make 135. Maybe 138 or 139 or something, which is probably more than fair. Manny goes down 8/9 pounds and Lomachenko goes down 8-9 pounds.

If he's not willing to at least meet Manny at 140, they don't need to fight. At this point, I doubt 140 is a picnic for Manny to make. 135 would be begging for a disaster. I don't think Loma is worried about fighting Manny at 140. I think he's worried about the can of worms that would be opened up. Especially the one about a potential Terrace Crawford showdown at 140.

That'd be great. Hope it happens.

Idk what pro boxing looks like in the Ukraine or Ukraine friendly "Russian states" (not sure all the politics over there), but I'd love to see Loma get some sort of pro fight homecoming next year too.

Maybe he could have some sort of thing with Germany like the Klitschko's did. Idk about his chances of being a star in the US, but I think he could be huge in the "Russian states" region or in a place like Germany that is more accepting of world travelers.

Idk how TR helps with all that, but ultimately I felt the Loma/TR thing was a bad move cuz TR can't really make Loma the next Manny (that was some random lucky moment in time with the right fighter & the right fights & I think & TR couldn't do it again by a blueprint) & Loma's greatest success is going to be outside of the US or maybe woulda been outside the US if he never really gets to fighting in the areas where he'd have the most popularity.

Pac is a natural 135lb. That just makes it more amazing him beating welterweights like Floyd Mayweather and Middleweights like Cotto. Lomachenko? Come on dude Pac will split your nuts off the back of your neck
