Oh no doubt. Many people feel that way and I totally get it.
I can't say I'm the same though. I really look at each fighter and decide who I like just based on their style and if I enjoy watching them as to whether I'll root for them. I like busy fighters but also talented, not just throwing punches to be throwing them. Every move must have a reason behind it or they'll get took. A lot of action though is what I prefer to see.Comment

Sosa is White? I thought he is a White Latino of PR background? That's not White in America(too political).White Americans are the ones who popularized that phrase when describing western Europeans. It's weird how they relate to Eastern Europeans more than Western Europeans. And not just in boxing. Kessler gets more love than Froch. There used to be a time when you could put the name "Irish" on any white fighter and he'd get support. Now you got people saying Loma had a better year than Frampton. You got Joe Smith Jr coming off an impressive KO and he's about to fight Hopkins but he's getting no love. That kid Sosa is a hell of a fighter and improving but he gets no love. I don't know if promoters messed it up by pushing so many great white hypes but seems like white Americans don't support white American fighters or white Western European fighters.Comment

I pretty much count white as European ancestry and features. Sosa looks the part of obviously Canelo does. Hispanics can very much be white. That's my definition though. Everyone has a different one.Comment

It's not a myth, its just resentment
When everything from MW-HW was solidly european titlists those guys suddenly decided there's no skill in the heavier divisions and pretended to be obsessed with (insert name) flyweight prospect
if every belt in boxing were in eastern euro hands these guys would suddenly love MMA
Plain old resentment from people who wish the "baddest man on the planet" was still some guy from down the tracks because it makes them feel tough by associationComment
