This fight brings it much closer though. You can only hate for so long before you say, "Well, hell. I guess they have something." I was actually this way with Pacquiao because he beat Barrera and Morales who I was a big fan of. But after he beat DLH, I said **** it and started paying attention. It will never end in the near future because there's some solid reasons for that. Nobody likes when foreigners making noise in the field that historically belonged ONLY to you (due to politic and other reasons). Audience will accept them eventually but not in the nearest futureComment

Well, with Calzaghe the argument is he fought old guys, Kovalev only beat Hopkins(although now we know he beat Ward and so he's a good one) and Golovkin has fought nobody is the argument there. Loma though? GRJ and Axeman? There's no knocking him now.Comment

No, I've noticed that lately. He was posting on one thread and I thought, this guy's pretty sharp actually. Don't know why he does the trolling bit though. Kind of odd. But hey, different strokes for different folks.Comment

Lomachenko needed a top fighter scalp in his resume and now he got it, so nobody can't say **** now. They can say that Walters was inactive, or the fight was rigid (which might be true to some extent but Lomachenko still dominated and from my understanding it was Walters dad who made him quit) but that's just excuses, hate and tears and nobody needs to pay attention to that, because the same people were picking Walters to beat Lomo before but now he was inactive. This fight brings it much closer though. I think that myth's been dead for almost a decade now...
There are more European champions than American ones...
More White champs, than Black ones...
Lol, the movie "The Great White Hype" is so out of date, it's hilarious... Since Wladimir Klitschko dominated the division for so long, and then Tyson Fury, another White man was the first to beat him.... Boxing has been searching for a great black hope for the HW division for a LOONG TIME!
Like Bob Dylan said - "The times, they are a changing..."
Boxing is no longer centered in USA regarding talent - it's a true global sport now, with the best talent lately coming from Europe.Comment
