I do, but I expect very tough negotiations - I'm not even sure the rematch happens. I think Ward believes he's replaced Floyd (which is comical) and he may even assume he's entitled to the kind of purse he's not actually drawing. The most attention he's ever gotten in his career is based off a bad decision, but on that note, I do think there's more attention in a rematch. I can even see them milking a rematch to garner more anticipation and attention to each fighter's career...that's not ideal however. Yeah I'd like to see it again and asap...just not in Oakland.

I don't want to see the rematch because I believe Kovalev was already a clear winner, he completely outclassed Ward for the most part of the fight it wasn't competitive for most of the fight and for me I just don't see the point I think the only point of it is Kovalev regaining the belts that were stolen from him...
Very sad state this sport is in!

It wasn't close, not unless you're only talking about 3 or 4 of the rounds from 7 to 12?

The part of me that's a fan of both guys is fine with them having a near-draw, and Ward edging him. I really didn't want to see Kovalev lose but I am ok with him making a very good accounting of himself.

But, the part of me who comes here and talks boxing can't wait to see a more decisive fight. It would be great to close this chapter and not have a Vitali/Lennox type of open-ended debate like we have now.

Yes. Kovalev needs to make this right.
