  • Does anyone actually want to see a kovalev ward rematch?

Im not interested in it one bit. Because really, what is the point in it. Kovalev cannot win, ward is near on unbeatable in america cause if it goes 12 rounds hes getting that decision, doesnt matter if hes dropped, outlanded, he is getting that decision.
What do people expect to be different in the rematch? Wards crafty, very defensive, does anyone really think kovalevs going to knock him out cold? I cant see it happening, or its unlikely anyway. Wasnt some amazing fight either despite what people on here say, i'd rather see kovalev v beterbiev, kovalev v stevenson.
And wards next opponents? Well to be honest im not really interested at all in watching ward again, stunk out the joint, dont think he threw a half decent combo all night, call me a casual but i do quite like to see boxers throw punches other than soft jabs to the body and head, thought true boxing was about 'hit and not get hit' instead of 'not hit and try not to get hit' which was wards approach

I certainly don't, it wasn't exciting. Ward should defend his title at wrestle mania and Kovalev should move on to Stevenson,Beterbeiv, and Gdvos-whatever.

They'll have to stack the undercard from top to bottom, with neutral judges, no Las Vegas, no ppv and all that jazz.

Honestly, yes. I don't even care if he gets the win. Kovalev is the better boxer by far as he proved in their first fight. If Ward wants to take another beating, I'll be happy to watch. As dirty as he is and has been, he deserves it. I bet Kessler is smiling since last weekend. Kovalev is just a pleasure to watch. He's a beast with his power but knows how to box and doesn't fall into traps. Clearly the better boxer and fighter.

Many thought Hopkins was robbed against Jean Pascal. Both fights took place in Canada. First one wasn't even that great either. Second fight got ridiculously high 1.8M viewers. Hopkins got the decision in the second fight.

I dont think the fight was as exciting as some people are making out, definately not a canditate for FOTY it was more the occasion that was exciting to me. Still a good fight.

If kovalev got his deserved decision, i would have no interest, however he didnt, so yes i am interested in watching it again...

yeah but i think that people are wanting the rematch cause they are pissed off and they want 'justice to be served' by kovalev winning the rematch. When the reality is the fight will look pretty similar, hes going to get robbed again in america and then people are going to get even more pissed off.

I doubt it, it's all about the $ at the end of the day. Controversy sells..
                And a trilogy makes $$$.

They match up extremely well, I actually enjoyed it more than Thurman-Porter so of course I'd like to see it again.
