Seriously, the guy has become underrated...if you look at his losses they are understandable, except for the blowout by Corrie Sanders.

Sanders loss: Wlad said he did over-look him, and didn't prepare for a southpaw, but even still, Corrie punches like a muel and has fast punches...Wlad didn't get KTFO, he got knocked down several times and continued to get back up, though he did get TKO early.

Lamon Brewster: the guy can punch and can take a punch....the problem was more Wlad than Lamon: Wlad either hyperventalated/wore himself out, something medically wrong, or ???????

His one true understandable loss, is Corrie Sanders


They say he has a glass chin, but the guy has never been knocked out cold...he can get knocked down, but he gets back up...lets not forget he did take some hard shots from Sam Peter.

His chin might be compared to a heavyweight version of Chico



Oh, Last time I checked, Teddy Atlas never won a Championship, nor ever won a Pro fight. He has a right to his opinion, like everybody else, but he doesn't garner the respect on the same level as those that fought at a top level.

Chico got beat by great opponents though. His chin was only exposed against tip top competition.

Yeah, and of course Wlad is facing "HW" punches. I think we should really get real about his chin though. It's not granite, but it's not half that bad. When you get hit with a punch from a 220+ man, it's gonna hurt and you're sure as hell going to get knocked down.

Wlad didnt get up against Brewster.
Chico has been KTFO's by castillo, but other then that his chin hasnt shown to be AWFUL. Ive always thought that it was more chico's legs then his chin.

I disagree. chico has been brutally taken out and wlads knockout to brewster was more to fatigue than anything. he couldnt even keep his hands up at that point and wasnt even knocked down. he went down on his own after the bell
