Kovalev held 54 times..where is the uproar?

Where are the same fans who said Floyd held to much and that Ward was the one who would be holding??

Ward initiated virtually every one by rushing in with his head and trying to hold and hit. Kovalev merely neutralised him

How many clinches were in the entire fight? Or are people gonna try to blame every single clinch on Kovalev?

Ward fought like Porter in the Brook fight. The bull rushing style always ends up in a clinch. No way around it. Yet look at Porter in the Thurman fight. He modified his style and fans experienced one of the most entertaining fights this year.

Kovalev didn't hold in the fight I watched. Ward initiated the holding. Ward didn't lead with a jab as much as he would lead with a grab. Every time Ward got close enough he would grab Kovalev and start his illegal holding and hitting tactics. Of course Kovalev had to grab Ward back and wrestle too but he didn't want to fight that way. Ward gave him no choice. Ward is the famous clincher not Kovalev. Ward wrestles and holds and hits in all his fights and Kovalev normally doesn't fight that way.It was almost always Ward who grabbed Kovalev first and not the other way around.

He didn't hold? So Ward wrapped Kovalevs arm around his own neck and refused to let go until the ref broke it?
