Cracker of a fight Bellew has balls this is going to be a gut check for Haye if he thinks he is going to walk through Bellew. I can't wait but still pissed Haye ducked Briggs.

The crazy thing is that this fight will probably sell pretty well.

Going off facebook today (i know it's a shitty measuring stick), there's a buzz about the fight.
Last week i think i saw one post about Ward Vs Kovalev after the fight. None before it.
So far i've seen no posts about Loma Vs Walters, yet i've seen lots and lots about Bellew Vs Haye since this afternoon.
Most of them the same guys who follow the McGregor, Joshua fights..events that come with hype.

I think the casual fans will stump up their cash for this one.

For those saying they don't mind this fight: would you rather see this or Haye fight the winner of Parker-Ruiz for the WBO strap?

That is the main problem I have with this fight: By taking it, Haye is giving up his mandatory spot against either Parker or Ruiz. Even if you somehow think that Bellew is going to be decent at heavyweight, there's no way you can think he's better than Ruiz or Parker who have been legite heavyweights their whole career, and in the case of Parker has actually gone out and beaten highly ranked heavyweights.

Haye vs Parker would be such an awesome heavyweight fight. Two excellent athletes who can move quickly and punch in combinations is rare at heavyweight.

even more rare for haye who climbed the hw ranks against ruiz, harrison, valuev and barret i believe. All were retiring. he is a vulture who poises himself for big payouts. parker isnt a payout and is unnecessarily risky. He wants UK rivalries or easy prey building up to them. Bellew is perfect because he's... both.

As soon as the fight was announced I got a headache imagining I was Bellew.

I suppose he will get a few million quid for his concussion I'd take that.

Haye really is building up his pension pot here.

                      True.

I hope the WBO is annoyed enough to drop him from their rankings tbh. It was a joke that he was ranked to begin with, but now that it looks like he won't take the fight they should just scrap him.
