  • Comments Thread For: David Haye-Tony Bellew Confirmed, March 4 At O2 In London

David Haye and Tony Bellew will clash in a Heavyweight blockbuster at The O2 in London on March 4, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

The big-hitting pair will finally settle their differences in the ring having clashed explosively on Sky Sports in Liverpool in October when Bellew defended his WBC World Cruiserweight title against BJ Flores, with the Liverpool star calling Haye out after knocking Flores out. Haye and Bellew exchanged angry words and had to be separated by security but on March 4 there will be no parting them.

Former two-weight World champion Haye returned from a three and a half year absence from the ring in January at The O2 with a first round KO win over Mark De Mori, following that in the same setting four months later with a second round KO win over Arnold Gjergjaj.

I'll be surprised if Bellew lasts 2 rounds.

Am I the only one who is cringing at the thought of Bellew going up to Heavyweight to fight Haye? This wont end well for Toney.

Bellew definitely has the heart for this fight but Haye's mobility and power will end this fairly early. Bellew is just too open to a hayemaker. It'll be a decent build up but we're already getting the SKY hype on this. Another PPV. Since when was Bellew the best Cruiser in the world. What f***ing planet is Hearn from.

Glad they made this match, the last person who nearly died in the ring was Amir Khan, Bellew is a dead man walking
