i agree on the 10th, i actually watched that whole round in slow motion (bored) and kov outlanded dre 24-14..about the 12th not so sure, i scored it for dre because in the last i think 15 seconds he scored with like four wicked body shots.

I agree... Kovalev already killed a guy in the ring. Ward should be very concerned on the rematch.

ummmmmm actually I think this statement moreso applies to you than kovalev. We can see alot more kovalev can do and their was literally nothing else you can do to win but exactly what you did, you can never beat kovalev from the outside and kovalev can always devolp a better inside game.

Ward seems perturbed by the fact that some fans feel he received a gift decision.

I hope he uses that resentment to finalize a rematch ASAP, like Floyd did against Castillo.

Kovalev does have more more gaps to fill than Ward. But can he apply them next time?

What the hell is Ward on about he doesn't get any breaks? His whole career has been one long break. The super six with fighting at home and cheating. And then fighting bums for big money.

He's just got another break with a robbery and fighting dirty again. Ward is nothing but breaks for **** sake.

those words, are exactly what I said immediately after the fight

of ALL the possible factors that will affect - or determine - a result in the rematch, the biggest factor will be that Ward was underdone heading into that fight

sure Kovalev will adjust his training, sure he will bring new things..... but then so will Ward

the biggest factor that will have the most effect on the rematch is that Ward will be MUCH better off having those 12 hard rounds under his belt, and he will greatly benefit from another specialist camp with Mackie Shilstone..... PLUS, now he knows Kovalev

the better fighter will make the better adjustments

the better fighter is Ward, otherwise he would not have been able to climb back into the fight following the knockdown

it gets harder for Kovalev from here on

he will simply be sharper having those 12 hard rounds under his belt..... he will also be stronger after another 175 camp with Shilstone..... and now he knows Kovalev inside out

and that is not even accounting for the adjustments/tricks that will invariably come

Kovalev will have to win 7 rounds without a knockdown in the rematch against a better/sharper/smarter Andre Ward

I don't see how you guys think it will get any easier for Kovalev, because it won't

Ward you shouldn't have even addressed these salty mfs. REAL boxing fans know how to judge a fight. What Kov did just wasn't enough to get the victory.
