Problem at 130 is that apart from a couple of Japanese fighters, all the viable contenders are from the North American continent, so he can't market beyond North America (not that he needs to for now). Assuming he gets past Walters, at 130 there is Vargas and Salido, and he could keep himself active with the Japanese guys too, but it seems like a comparatively quiet and easy division for him after Walters.

He said he needs a year to get to 135, but when he does, it really opens up with a number of European fighters, couple of African, Linares (sort of South America and Japan in one shot), and Verdejo and Garcia in the mix too (if Garcia stays down, which I doubt). 135 he gets lots of options to expand his wings.

And would Pac really go down to 135 for him ? Pac says Yes, Roach says No. I suspect Pac's fighting spirit is saying yes, but his body will say no too....

He did fight in the US, again. A few times actually. It was the Ibragimov fight which almost derailed any hope he had of ever being on HBO again.

I don't know what to make of Bob pushing Loma over Crawford for the Pac fight. Does he think Loma has a bigger upside for being a star than Crawford? Crawford already has a good fan base. A win over Pac would shoot him up superstar status. On the other hand I think Loma is to small for Pac at 140. Is he setting up a Pac win over Loma for a Crawford showdown in November?

          Agree with that
