Beterbiev beat Kovalev twice in the amateurs, once right before Kovalev turned pro, dude literally chased Kovalev out of the amateur program. Learn something about the sport man.

Number of fights don't mean **** man, just look at Rigo. Beterbiev won the Milan Amateur World Championships and beat Kovalev in the process.

Ward has never ducked a fighter, even bigger fighters, and has done nothing but look good and win versus elite competition. I get that some people are disappointed by Kovalev's performance in his last fight, but that has nothing to do with Ward. Kovalev ran out of steam, Kovalev lost the last 6 rounds (and at least one of the first 6), and Kovalev cried about robberies despite getting the early KD and having Ward wobble-legged....but letting him off the hook. That fight was Kovalev's fault and Kovy's fault alone.
Anyhow Beterbiev hasn't fought anyone. It's very difficult to see him ever getting a Ward fight unless he fights someone. Why would Ward bother with some random unknown who has 0 marketability? He needs to fight and fast. I don't care who wins, but I'd like to see it
