Beterbiev beat Kovalev several times in the amateurs, and won gold at the Milan World Championships which is even more impressive than Olympic Gold.

If Kovalev could have Ward down (and won in the eyes of most), I think Beterbiev knocks Ward the fk out. Beterbiev is an absolute monster, he is even more solid than Kovalev and hits even harder with better balance. He won't take his foot of the gas like Kovalev did, he would stalk and finish Ward.

Ward has no power to keep powerful light heavies off him. He is tricky enough to avoid much punishment once he gets your timing down, but due to styles, Beterbiev has a chance to walk right through him early. I'd bet on that chance tbh...even though Beterbiev is obviously untested.

here we go again. Why the **** would Ward even think about fighting Beterbiev right now? What's in it for him? If he beat Beterbiev (who I like), you would call him and bum then move onto the next one.

With that said, Beterbiev definitely would give Ward a hard time. He's a lot more aggressive than Kovalev and actually knows how to apply pressure. He throws a lot more punches, can fight on the inside and is bigger.

Whatever you say man. Beterbiev is not the greatest fighter, but he can punch and he's stronger than ward...in case you haven't noticed, ward can't punch, is basically flat footed now and wouldn't have the advantage inside that he did with smw fighters. Fights like that could end up being tough for ward at 175.
