This is a MUCH EASIER fight for Ward. Easy decision or KO.

You're out of your tree. Probably another casual who thinks Adonis is a one handed fighter. Ward would be in for a war. Stevenson has a longer reach and would jump on him early and force him to constantly pivot out and reset and keep beating him to the first punch and move him back and put him in a position where he digs deep, pours cement around his feet, puts his head in Adonis' chest and goes for broke, or gets walked through and mauled until the ref has seen enough.

Adonis is much more one dimensional than Kovalev. He is always looking for the right hand. Ward would easily beat him. Too much boxing IQ for Adonis. Adonis got where he's at cause he hits so hard. He will rely on that to win with Ward. You can't do that with Ward. He'll see it a mile away. Adonis couldn't beat Kovalev either.

Thing is, Adonis sets up his right hand with his left. He has an underrated jab, and knows how to feint and use his feet to move in and out. I won't argue that Ward doesn't have the ring IQ advantage, but Adonis can negate that easily, and he will land on Ward, it's crazy to think he won't - there isn't a man alive he couldn't land that right on, even Lomachenko and Rigo would feel it a few times, even if they slipped the vast majority. Ward would eat rights and the question is, does his chin hold up? And if it does, the next question is, does his heart hold up when he keeps having to pick himself off the canvas?

Mmm, now your getting delusional thinking he could hit Rigo or Loma.
Ward would fight on the inside and take away that reach and Stevensons power. He can't hit hard with out room and his feet need to be set properly for his right hand. All of which would be denied. Boxing 101.

Problem is you think he will get inside with ease. Adonis is fast enough with his right to where he will catch Ward coming in with a quick counter and step back and land again. Ward would be in for a fight, there's really no way around it. It's a Corrales/Castillo type fight all over again.

Adonis NEEDS room and time to throw those "haymakers". All feed into Wards style. THE ONLY kind of fighter/style that can beat Ward are guys with HIGH LEVEL boxing IQ & crazy foot speed, hand speed like Rig, Loma & of course Mayweather. A PRIME Roy Jones Jr would of beat Ward. Adonis is far from a Roy Jones Jr. type of speed.
Adonis strength is his power and that's about it. He's predictable and can be tracked.

Easier said than done. Early rounds would be very telling. Adonis is by no means a slow fighter, and exchanges will happen. Especially if Ward tries to crowd him inside. Ward might win a UD but can he really take Adonis' power through 12 rounds?

He took Kovalev's and we saw in the first Fonfara fight that Adonis fades.
