whether or not u think kovalev or ward deserved the decision if u cant appreciate ward kov as a great fight im not sure why u even watch boxing tbh. im tired this idea that only action packed fights with bleeders are the only great fights its honestly ridiculous and bad for the sport that people can only appreciate high action fights. sorry but ward and kov are too dam good of fighters to just be brawlers and besides i guarantee lemonchenkho will be conservative and smart in that fight anyway

I agree that right now Ward/Kovalev I is in the mix, but it sure isn't a lock. I disagree with Arum here about the holding, there was some holding and whatnot but not nearly enough to call this anything but a great fight, which it was.
People are mad round here. Ward did nothing but hold and clinch all night. If you saw something different, then you really should go and have an eye test. I think you may have **** in them and you're blinded by it.
Did people actually view Kov/Ward as a bad fight? I mean I was pretty intoxicated and was watching it alone but I thought it was a great fight. I remember thinking that was one of the best "mega fights" I had seen in a while. But then again I was pretty drunk so maybe that impacted my enjoyment of it.
Then you must have beyond drunk to have enjoyed that eye sore. It was bloody awful.
