Sounds to me that many don't understand Lomachenkos style. He's not exactly traditionally exciting. Not is he a ko artist. He is a skill fighter. If he chooses to, he will play hit and not get hit. If Walters can't figure out how to touch him, it may not be that exciting of a fight. This idea that there's gonna be done big brawl is silly.

me too,Loma's also my favorite fighter,he's sensational,he's truly a glitch in the matrix!!
And i also love Walters,he's a real cool guy from watching his interview today, and a great fighter but that we already knew, this will be fought at a higher intensity and more pace then Ward vs Kovalev, more technical skills more punches from both sides and more angles, less clinching
and i just love the lower weight classes more tbh but that's just personal preference,i picked this fight way before Kovalev vs ward happened to be a better fight, can't wait till saturday

Thurmna/Porter or Ward/Kovalev. Both great fights with consequences. Skilled fighters who pushed their opposition not two guys who can just hit each other in the face a lot.

Remeber Martinez vs Salido had two great fights last year. Add Lomachenko instead of Salido and it becomes total schooling and domination. Yes if its fight of the year it aint thanks to Lomachenko. Walters is going to get outclass. Loma 396-1 amature record, two time gold Medalist, two division World Champion in 7 pro fights.

first half of the fight was good, second half turned into a awkward, ugly wrestling match.

Couldn't have said it better. True fan

So far vargas vs Salido is the FOTY but the year has not ended and if any fight has potential to dethrone frankie vargas vs Salido it is Lomachenko "the number 1 Pound For Pound Fighter Of The World " vs the ax man....

Ward/Kov was outstanding -- edge of your seat the entire way. No it wasn't your typical FOTY type of fight, which is typically your all out war for as long as it lasts kind of fight. But it was high pressure, high drama for 12 full rounds. Can't ask for much more. Especially when you're talking about 2 of the five top fighters on the planet.

As for Lomachenko/Walters, it too is an incredible fight on paper. One of the better KO artists in the sport up against arguably the highest skilled P4P boxer in any class -- I'm personally looking forward to it every bit as much as I did Ward/Kovalev. Maybe even more.

As entertaining as I found Ward/Kov, I think Walters/Loma has a chance to one up it in terms of pure entertainment, and Ward/Kov was pretty damn salty.

salido vs vargas still hasn't been topped and I think lomachenko vs walters will be a one sided fight in loma's favor.

Looking forward to this fight. I like both fighters and they bring a lot of skill to the table. FOTY? Maybe, that will be figured out later. Just hope there is better judging than Kovalev - Ward.
