LOL I wish more ward fans were like him. Hey ward fans, Kovalev won this fight. He landed more power shots and more shots in genral and i thnk he took some of those "close" rounds

I posted that and I will also add that Ward fans that say he won by atleast 4 rounds don't know what the hell they're talking about.

Only thing I concluded from watching this, round 3,9 and 12 which are rounds some here like to debate, I don't see how it's even debatable, Ward won those.

Round 10, Ward lost control of that round and showboating didn't help his case at all, he ended up eating solid jabs as a result.

Round 11 was so tight but Kovalev started losing steam and having to get up off the canvas tired him out even more which allowed Ward to take the round.

Round 6 is every bit the swing round I initially thought it to be.

Again, same scorecard.

Kova landed a good sequence in rd 3. And Ward missed with his counter. Which is the story of the fight for me, I can't tell if Ward is actually doing anything half the time inside except wrestling with Kovalev. Although he did land some great body shots later on.

Wrong. The "hard right hook to the side of the head" is blocked by the glove. I said shoulder because this camera angle is blind in your gif but the point is that I could see it was deflected. I just checked the HBO cast and it's clearly caught on the glove.

What I am noticing is that more and more people are changing their scores on certain rounds after re-watching the fight which shows you just how much of a boxing chess match this was. People who give Kovalev an easy 3+ point victory should not be discounted bc he did land the monster shots. People who give ward a 4+ point victory are delusional. Those who give Ward and/or Kovalev the CLOSE victory I cant disagree with.
