True, but is this a fight that really attracts that crowd? You have clubs in NYC that will be easy to get to after the fight. I think Newark is the perfect solution if the NYC insurance can't get addressed.Close to NYC is a good deal but then you run into the issue of losing the ability to sell the expensive seats to the casinos who give the tickets to the Vegas high-rollers. That's the biggest advantage of staging fights in Vegas. You're nearly guarantee a sell-out for the lower bowl and ringside seats.Comment

Let's look at all the facts:
No rematch in California and Russia, ok.
Main Events doesn't want to have it Nevada, because of their judges system.
For a card of this magnitude the insurance problem in NY isn't that big. The insurance costs are about 2700 $ per fighter. Who really needs an undercard anyway? But Roc Nation Sports sits in NY, effectively killing the chance of having it there.
It won't be in NJ eiher. Home state to Main Events.
Nevada's big advantage are the low taxes. Another suitable state might be Texas, but I don't know how many interest the fight generates there. Stacking the undercard with Latino fighters might be a solution. But going to Texas because you want to get away from 'corruption' or 'robberies'? Come on, man...
Florida could be interesting, but yeah, the last big event there was...Tarver vs. Jones III?
They can go to a lot of places, but at the end you want to fill the arena and not have some Bradley vs. Alexander situation where you don't fill the arena, and that only to avoid a 'robbery'...Comment
