Yeah, the crowd for Wilder-Szpilka had a big Polish crowd.. This one definitely would have a lot of Russian/pro Kov crowd for sure.. That's why I feel it will sell out MSG/Barclays, but Tom Cruise brought up an important point about the insurance cost which eats into the pot..

Boxing purists will buy the rematch in a heartbeat b/c they realize the beauty that was on display Saturday night. Constant adjustments, feints, inside fighting, etc. That was boxing at its highest level.

However, I could see the decision (controversial to some) affecting casual fans to even entertain buying another PPV that they feel is "rigged" in the American's favor.

          This is getting ridiculous.

New York - Expensive as ****.

          Atlantic City - Dead

          Florida - Dead

Texas - Move from Nevada to Texas to avoid corruption??

Europe - Yeah like Ward is really going to Europe

Why not just put the damn fight in a secret location in Wyoming and have 3 dudes who never watched a fight judge it who have no preconcieved notions about the fighters going in? Then we can just read about it the next morning?

Boxing is an entertainment business. Kovalev and Ward want 1. Money first 2. Win second.

The fight will be in Vegas with Vegas judges because that's where everybody makes the most money. Now stop bitching and let's talk rematch.

Yeah, i forgot about insurance. So have it at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. the train goes from MSG right to Newark so its easy to get to.

If you did Ward/Kov 2 with an Usyk/Glowacki 2 or a unification that would do good business.

              Thoughts?
Definitely some shady crap. Only way to beat the system is to offer a bigger bribe than the other guy.

Newark, NJ Prudential Center. Close to NYC. Large Arena. Easy to get to.

Close to NYC is a good deal but then you run into the issue of losing the ability to sell the expensive seats to the casinos who give the tickets to the Vegas high-rollers. That's the biggest advantage of staging fights in Vegas. You're nearly guarantee a sell-out for the lower bowl and ringside seats.

Plus the fee the casino pays just to stage the event there.

Itll be Vegas. Duva will probably just try to use this situation to leverage some other stuff in negotiations.

Good Option , but I'm not sure if they would have the same appeal as NYC venues..

I'm not sure if Atlantic City can hold as big a crowd as the other venues though..
