I disagree here. Ward and Kov have the resume of better fighters. The fans are taking note of this and that's why a Ward-Kov rematch is desired. Stevenson is losing traction and if either fighter decides to fight elsewhere instead of entertain Stevenson, I believe they will be just fine and their actions justified by most of the boxing community. I'm not saying that Stevenson doesn't have the goods... but I don't think Ward or Kov's willingness to be great will be in question because they don't pander to Adonis... At some point, I hope these fights happen though.

and how many people saw it? his attendance at fights has been going down, his tv ratings have been going down, and so have his purses. hes had the opportunity to fight kovalev on hbo ppv for 2 years now and he refuses.

Stevenson gets unfairly underrated, he'd give both guys a tough fight. Especially Ward who has no right hand whatsoever.

Not a fan much of Stevenson, but really a Ward fight would be in order at some point. But Ward, since Sat., has gotten a bigger and bigger swollen head... and now he's basically ducking Stevenson. The guy needs to wake up and realize he doesn't own the sport. Can't wait for the Kovalev rematch. Everything in the sport moves along slower than most of us want it to, but I have a feeling Ward gets dropped and stopped if Kovalev comes in guns blazing like he's now said he will. Since he now knows he can't win a decision even if he wins the fight. Which he just did. But yeah, let Stevenson have Ward after Kovalev stops him, and then we'll see just how good Stevenson's boxing skills are. He'd probably give Ward even more trouble than Kovalev did.

Man Stevenson is indeed delusional, I am sure there is another Tommy Karpency out there for him, before he takes a tough fight again. Shame to think he once went toe to toe with Bellew and Fonfara before he signed on the dotted line with Haymon, it's been pretty smooth sailing since. Kovalev was the king it is now Andre Ward.

I wasn't complaining. Not sure what you read that sounded like a complaint. I was commenting on the quote by SOG that it seemed he has no interest in fighting AS. Lets hope SOG does not require another 3 tune up bouts before honoring the rematch stip with Kov.
