Cut the ring off better. Go to the body more. Be in better shape.

To my surprise, many people on here said Kovalev said he struggles to make 175 so that might be the reason for it. Plus Ward fights very rough as well. And as time goes on he will struggle more and more with making the weight.

Stamina has been an issue for that guy for a while now. If he wasn't in better shape before then I find it hard to believe he will be in the future since he is getting older.

I like Ward and don't mind the decision, but he needs to stop acting like he dominated Kovalev. He's starting to sound a little insecure. Often times when people keep repeating statements its because they're trying to make themselves believe it as much as the rest of the world. You fought hard and you won. But all this "we broke him down ah and we took his soul" talk needs to stop.

sure but of the two, whom has a better arsenal in their respective styles to neutralize the adjustments the second time around. Think anyone would be hard pressed to side against SOG. lets hope we get the rematch but let it marinate for a year especially to reward sergei's lack of graciousness in defeat.

Ahh no...you knew you were deep ****e so you grabbed for your life. You landed some good jabs. Landing jabs is not enough to take a champions title. As far as taking his heart? Gimme a break.
You were knocked down you were hurt and you did not do enough to win rounds convincingly. Hanging in with a beast is not a victory.
Micheal Spinks, Archie Moore, Ezzard Charles, Bob Foster destroy Andre Ward. These Light Heavy legends knocked people out. They did not grab and hold to win the title.

Andre Ward is a great fighter and I like him. He didn't beat Kovalev though and does not deserve to be Light Heavyweight Champ.
Truth be told Andre Ward is the greatest Super Middleweight of all time in my opinion and should stay at that weight.

when? He looked fresh at the end of the hopkins fight. Looked fine with Chilemba too.

Dude sounds like khan. Over hyping his own performance. He was not impressive.

At least he told the truth about being a dirty fighter. How is that something to brag about? A more accurate quote.

We got grimy, we got dirty, but Kovalev is so much better than us, we lost 8 rounds to 4 anyway. Damn! Either that Krusher is better than we thought, or I'm a little bit overrated!
