Ward was winning in 2 of 3 cards going into the 8th. There was no way Kovalev was winning as gassed as he was.

Well, I said 8th round.

OK, 2/3 of the cards might have been whack, the blows were lowish, and the stoppage was earlyish, but Ward won it. Kovalev can *****, but he had to dominate in a way he didn't to win it. He failed. (I say that as a Kovalev fan.) So let's all celebrate the death of boxing because Ward is still awful, and HBO won't get it.
