its obvious you dont know how to score a fight if they had it 116-111 for either guyI think its deeper than scoring fights. They are emotionally invested in the official outcomes of these fights and need to convince themselves that it was either a robbery and anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot. They also need to use the opinions of others to confirm their scores because they have the inability to explain their own scorecards.
I love all of the "this black guy said Kovalev won so it must be true" threads that have been going up the last few days.
that Dougie sure is butthurt...did you see the ring monday mailbag
he didnt take any messages from people who scored it for ward...the butthurt is real bwahahahhahahahahaComment

lol not even close. "You had people claiming Pacquiao won". Who? Pacquiao fans? Every media outlet had Mayweather white washing him with an avg. score of like 118-110. You'll be hard pressed to find 5-10 professional boxers who gave that fight to Pacquiao.
Kovalev vs. Ward on the other hand you had the majority of the media outlets scoring the fight for Kovalev. The professional boxers were split. The majority of the fans that watched the fight seem to be split as well.Comment

That's sad that he's employed by one of the most notable boxing websites. Dudes are dumb. This isn't basketball where a free throw is one point, inside the arch is 2 points and outside the arch is 3 points. This **** is subjective. Dudes try to force feed their opinions as facts and its sad.
When you have 50/50 fights, it just comes down to judge selection. Toney/McCallum 1 and 2, Pac/Marquez 1,2,3; Morales/Barrera series (I don't remember which ones but I recall all of them being debated), Canelo/Lara, the list goes on. These fights were seen as controversial.
It just happens when you have 2 even fighters going at it. Somebody has to take an L and in this case, it was Kovalev.Comment
