Ward did not fight the perfect fight, but he showed the heart of a champion, adjusted, and eked out the close win. Without the kd, he would have clearly won by 2-3 rounds. Kovalev couldnt get out of 2nd gear and was worked over past round 5

ward ran through the fire and met the big bad krusher....no hugging, no head butts, he bit down and worked inside and stayed with the game plan

imo a rematch will be a clearly win for ward considering he is a tactical master.

and did you see the fight? that inside from both men were full of fouls(kova with his elbows and ward the same and the head use)..and the ref let them get away with it. wich was cool for me.
