They saw it the way I did, and extremely close fight, where Kovalev's shots were more impressive to the eye, but Ward's smothering and inside punching helped him wage a huge comeback.

I wish I had scored the fight while I was watching, but I probably had it either 8-4 Ward or 7-5 Ward to go with Kovalev's 10-8 round in the 2nd

They have the scores right, people want to downgrade Ward and his accomplishments, but he is one of the smartest fighters in the world and he finds a way to win. Kovalev, his promoter and the rest of the salty ones can go home and take a good Sh*%, he LOST, end of story..

sky were bizzarrely bias throughout the whole fight for ward. Were calling shots that didnt land, pretty much ignoring some of the stuff kovalev did in the late rounds. Paul smith had ward winning by 3 points lol, wonder if its anything to do with him getting spanked by ward. Cause sky put ward on a pedestal after he beat froch 'wards untouchable, no shame in froch losing', then that whole narrative went out the window on saturday night. Dont think there was a single sky pundit who scored it for kovalev including those in the studio.

Ward had a great second half of the fight, Kovalev tired and the decision isn't that bad. Ward definitely pinched an early round here or there so 114-113 is reasonable. Hope to see a rematch.
