Malignaggi really pisses me off. If he thinks Ward won this fight then he should shut his pecker holster about his Adrian Broner fight. Little hypocrite sellout punk just trying to go against the obvious so he can sound like he knows something other people dont know and make his commentating seem insightful so he doesn't have to sell carpet with his old man.

That Hooker-Perez was highway robbery. Reminded me of the Paul Williams vs Lara.
See? That **** works both ways. That's why fights aren't judged based on expectations or past fights, they're judged based on who wins more rounds. And that was Kovalev. But we all saw with the Hooker-Perez fight that the judges were in the tank for Roc Nation, and you know the rest.Comment

he beats him? with a gift decision,he gets credit for taking the fight. But come on,most people don't think he won the fight man.Thats why there is such backlash.Comment

There is so much crying going on about this fight. People act like at least 10 of the rounds weren't extremely close. Nitpicking Ward's interviews, claiming conspiracies by everyone, trying to use compubox as a way to determine who won individual rounds all seem ridiculous. We get a rematch (I believe Kov has a rematch clause). It's not over. They have another chance to prove or disprove the verdict. Stop crying and put pressure on a rematch (or a unification and then winner vs. Kov) which it looks like will happen anyway. Also, GGG is irrelevant in the conversation regarding this fight. Similarly to the people ducking him, he and his fans can shut it, if they aren't trying to move up to LHW..Comment

I think we all know why Smith went with Ward, he got well and truly ****ed over by him. Macklin, well he's been listening to Smith talk about how great Ward is. Macklin even gave Ward rds 3, 4 and 5. Even all 3 of those MF corrupt judges gave KKK 2 of those 3. That's those 2 discarded. You would think that when a multiple belt holder rocks a guy in the first, bowls him over in the second, stalks him around the ring the remainder of the night and outscores him on the punch stats (and we all know whose punches carry more weight) there is only one way you can go on that. BUT you got to hand it to boxing for once again shooting itself in the foot. 4 Yankee judges and ref tells the whole tale. Wonder how this would have been called with judges picked from outside of the US. Imagine this had been fought in Europe. We all know how this would have gone down. It's a ****in disgrace. Now that Ward has the belts, that's how the next fight will be judged - " Kovalev just didn't do enough to take the belts from the unified holder". No wonder he is ****ed off.Comment

Day 3....and the same b*tches and their alts are still crying robbery while the boxing industry (fighters and promoters) all agree that it was a close fight that could have gone either way. You girls cry that boxing is going down the drain because we don't get top guys to fight each other. Well they did, and since your guy didn't win in what was ALWAYS going to be a close fight, you cry even more instead of appreciating the fight that you got.Comment

Boxing is scored round by round. It was a close fight and different people value different things in judging. You're basically saying that judges should adjust their cards at the end to benefit the champ. Or that judges should sway towards the champ in close rounds just because he is the champ. You also acknowledge that it was a close fight by suggesting that Ward didn't do enough to lift the belts. Well so the judges are corrupt because they saw a close fight as close, but differed from YOUR individual judgment of who won?I think we all know why Smith went with Ward, he got well and truly ****ed over by him. Macklin, well he's been listening to Smith talk about how great Ward is. Macklin even gave Ward rds 3, 4 and 5. Even all 3 of those MF corrupt judges gave KKK 2 of those 3. That's those 2 discarded.
