ive been dropped but timing and accuracy can get you before power...he saw the shot...the ones that you dont see hurt you

Boone hurt him a lot worse, also....we arent in the ring with him, what does he gain for lying?

if he was worried about Kov's power, he wouldnt have been pressing the issue and coming to him working inside
So are you saying Miranda hits harder?

He had no choice but to press the issue and fight inside since he was getting outboxed and worked over on the outside by Kovalev!

Ward is playing mental warfare right now and trying to get Sergey to make mistakes in their rematch! IMO I think an angry Kovalev is the last thing he wants, he's more brutal, deadly, and now knows how Ward fights personally!

Just happy we get to see 2 elite fighters in their prime go at it again!

Ward was a young pup, inexperienced, and didnt see the shot.....obviously it hurt him more than kovalevs shot

Kov has great accuracy and balance in his shots....he isnt a one punch ko artist, he breaks you down

i have a stablemate who will fight at 132, as i will and he hits harder than guys ive sparred who have good power at 141, and 152

        size doesnt always mean power

in relation to him when he fought miranda, in comparison to kov...Miranda shots may have hurt him more...he wasnt as physically strong or experienced back then

emotion doesnt not belong in a boxing ring.....kovalev will make more mistakes if he is not composed, overcommit, stray from the game plan and walk into shots

you never box, angry...boxing isnt street fighting, its a cerebral sport...if kovalev cant ko him...i doubt he could sustain 12 rounds of discipline required to beat WARD on points

emotions bring loses....look at leonard vs duran 1....other fights...

Be objective & just ask rationally who you would suggest hit harder? Think about the bigger picture here..

Get out out Wards damage control mindset right now & think..

Ward, Hopkins, Pascal, Cleverly, Chilemba, Boone... He dropped these men with ease! Miranda is much smaller & has one claim to fame losing to Abraham in a war. Be rational & drop the chip off you shoulder. Think for yourself instead of following & peddling Wards diatribe all the time. Miranda in no way hits even as hard as Froch IMO

Ward stayed in range and boxed him so, obviously it wasn't anything he felt too threatened by. Boone clocked him far worse. Ward landed on one knee from the Kovalev KD Andre his head cleared immediately.

              that damage control

My opinion isnt as valid as the guy who shared the ring with 31 pro fighters bro...just saying

he may have been hit HARDER by miranda, which is why he said so. you're not taking the shots so how would you know?

If he wasn't your biggest challenge or biggest puncher, how was he able to win the most rounds against you and even beat you in the eyes of many, and how was he able to wobble you with jabs and even drop you? Something no other fighter has been able to do.

Kovalev was worse than Ward, try watching BOTH guys next time
There were some trainers and insiders that went for Ward, but the vast majority went for Kov. Plus those that went with Ward were mostly American. Go figure.

Kov was worse than Ward in holding? You'd have to be beyond the pale in delusion to tell yourself that crap. Ward is always holding and clinching in his fights, kov doesn't. But go ahead and try convince yourself otherwise.
